Day 42 - Chiang Mai - Tiger Kingdom and Thai Boxing

Today was the best day ever! We went to the Tiger Kingdom, a reserve for tigers and for tourists to enjoy the tigers up close and personal. First we went into the cub's enclosure; there were 2 cubs only 6 weeks old. We were able to play with them and pat them; unfortunately I wasn't allowed to stay long because tigers are scared of Dragons. So Mum and Dad took many photos for me. There were so cute and playful, their feet were way too big for their bodies. Next we went into the big cat's enclosure there were 3 full grown tigers only 18 months old and they were huge! Mum and Dad laid next to the tigers and cuddled them. I was too scared. We were able to spend 15mins in the enclosure it was the most awesome experience ever. I wanted to take one home. Dad surprised me on the way out with a friend!! Her name is Sura and she is a Tiger! I am so happy to have a friend.

That evening Mum and Dad went to Thai Boxing, Sura and I stayed at the hotel watching Scooby Doo and the Flinstones. Mum and Dad really enjoyed the boxing, they said that the fighters were quite skillful as they box and kick and wrestle. Most of the fighters were under 20 and were really talented. There was even a girl fight, the girls were only 14 years old but they were just as skilled as the boys.
