We have now returned to the real world after an unbelievable week in the Galapagos, expecting to see David Attenborough around every corner. Despite having been on dry land for just over 24 hours now the ground is still very much swaying (or at least we are) so I'm sure other people think we've been at the rum. Team Hiles have now ventured north again ready to set off on our first proper cruise - around the Galapagos - tomorrow. People always say you end up being your parents...... After chilling out in the Sacred Valley for a few days our Inca Trail weary bodies decided to give us another bout of food poisoning and Andean Man Flu. I can only imagine what wimps Franky thought we were as she had to set off on another solo day out before heading home after 2 lovely weeks...
