Met a girl called Alice on the morning i arrived in Chaing Mai at this guesthouse so we did a days cookery course the other day, was SO good, made spring rolls, pad thai, green curry, chicken in cocnut milk soup and a dessert of sticky rice with mango mmmm! Was so full! The place was really nice and the 6 other people with us were reallly nice too so it was fun. Photos were taken for us for them to put on their website in about a months time so we can download them for free.

The next day i went on a tour of the elephant national park, it had rescued elephant that were forced to still do the tourist treks through the jungle even thought they had broken backs and legs etc, and other ones were just generally being abused and found on the streets etc. Here they had 150 acres of national park to roam around free, no chains, no work to do, loads of food and cared for so well. We fed them and bathed them in the river twice and got some really cool photos when we were just walking amongst them. Unfortunately i wanted to kick myself very hard yesterday as i deleted all the photos from my camera before id put them on facebook, but a friend reckons she knows a program that can retreive the photos.....fingers crossed!!!!

Yesterday i went with 2 girls from my dorm, Megan and Ally to hire a car, thankfully i didnt drive or navigate, we went to Lampang and beyond into some really far out places to get to this non-touristy waterfall, we were the only people there it was well worth the journey! We climed really far up the waterfall to swim in the pools. Earlier in the day we also organised to visit the worlds first elephant hospital. its not a tourist place but the girls had been emailing the founder to arrange the visit. So the doctor showed us around and we met all the elephants, there was a baby elephant only a year old you was trying to pull us into the enclosure everytime we went to play with it!

Just having a chill out day today, first day i havent had to put an alarm on for anything, so had a lie in finally caught up on a weeks worth of bad sleep.
