So got to Pai yesterday after a 3 and a half hour journey which was just hairpin bend after hairpin bend! Checked into some accommodation but had yet another night with zero sleep, it was a wooden hut bungalow so i just kept hearing noises. Met a girl called Alice on the morning i arrived in Chaing Mai at this guesthouse so we did a days cookery course the other day, was SO good, made spring rolls, pad thai, green curry, chicken in cocnut milk soup and a dessert of sticky rice with mango mmmm! Last night was the first night in Chaing Mai, a load of us from the hostel went out for drinks at a Reggae Bar. Met some really nice people, sadly all not staying arounds for much longer. Spent today at a thai cookery school, went to the local food market to get the ingredients and made 6 meals, yum! So full now tho, and had waaaaay too much rice for my own good i think. They have rice for breakfast, lunch and dinner, and in puddings too which is a bit weird.

Took the overnight sleeper train last night, 14 hours, to Chaing Mai. Stayed in a cabin with 4 people, top bunk really high up! Just checked into the guesthouse, looked into doingh some tours and cookery courses. Hoping to go to the night market tonight or one night soon.

Had every intention of getting up in time for the tour bus to pick us up at 7am this morning to go to the floating markets. But turns out my alam clock battery died overnight, the driver arrived but told our friends he'd come back in 6 munites, that's right, 6 minutes to get ready and out. Floating markets were good, a bit touristy and didnt get to spend long on the boat but was good anyway. Last night in Bankgkok tonight.
