The title photo shows that yes there is Bull in Scotland, a strong vibrant movement still exists for seperation from Britain,Wales & Ireland.
As we travelled North in search of Ness at Loch Locmond we saw graffitti pushing for seperation.
I thought why well maybe it lies in the multicultural destruction of Britain.
One has great difficulty in having an English experience in England.
This can be illustrated by our stay in Northamption at the Sunley Conference Centre. We had only one towel for two people so we asked a staff member for an additional towel, his reply was Ï work in hospitality not house keeping!"
Well lets jump a step back, the first staff member I asked had an even poorer grasp of English he could not understand what a towel was.
However all s not good in Scotland either. I booked into a Hotel in Tydrum, a very popular motorcycle stop at The Green Welly.
It prided in offering a true Scottish experience, in a remote part of the Western Highlands. Sounds great, when easy to find and a receptionist at check in. Well she spoke very little English and my knowledge of Spanish had left my mind when we left Spain some two months ago.
It was perhaps best as it saved arguments. I asked to make a booking at the hotel restaurant only to understand the words NO, eat in the town.
Seems the restaurant, offering the traditional foods of Scotland to enchance your Scottish Experience, only catered for the bus groups.
I met another couple who had been downgraded from the üpper class hotel from the same group, at no refund of the difference, who where told the same despite their "package"being Dinner,Bed & Breakfast.
The staff at the hotel all appeared to be Spanish backpackers bar one gentleman I spoke to. He told me it's very lonely as the Spanish never speak to him.
Brexit can't come soon enough for those interested in keeping their country their country.
Of course the PC bandits refuse to believe the "takeover of Britain"
My latest example was I was asked wonder who the fellow was that rammed the cyclists and crashed his car into the gates at Parliament.
Without hesitation I replied, Black,male,20-30yrs of age, Muslim, never worked, never completed courses offered but the media will say only a British citizen. Yes I was 100% correct. Incase you don't know they offered all the illegals British Citizenship shortly after their entry. No wonder along the trip we saw evidence of these people trying to board or enter the ports of ferries going to the UK.
The loch's of Northern Scotland have been imortalised in song, poems, history & fiction since settlement and no trip would be complete without a visit to Loch Lomond. So it was as we left Edinburgh and headed North no not really looking for Nessie but to enjoy the iconic Loch scenery.
The roads we used were selected to included minimal motorways but instead the small back roads even farmers lanes as the title photo shows.
At many times were were on smaller one lane roads that wound around the Mountains and the only passing spots were marked as such so one had to be adapt at reversing. The GPS was they only guide we had as heather covered mountains at times showed on the screen as purple only for the whole screen. Somethings that never happens in Australia.
The mountains still had some snow coverage and often the mist covered the peaks but it was strange to see how it drifted both up and down the same mountain side.
Our progress came to a halt on one of these country lanes as the local farming family seperated two mobs of cattle and herded a number down the road. The bull took exception and showed his disgust fortunately on the roadside bank. We crawled for some distance behind the son & daughter on a quad bike while Dad walked until he too joined them on the quad. However all did not go smoothly and a breakaway saw Dad & son on foot pursueing errant catlle so to her obivious delight daughter took over the quad on this public road her age appeared to be maybe 12.
We noted that the valley and the steams filled by the melting snows was the base to Tummel Hydro Electricity project that supplies enough pwer to power up a large city Glascow. No this renewable energy source is not new it has happily operated for many years before the term renewable became fashionable.
We decided that a country town would make a good lunch stop and happened upon Rothwell with Orion. We were fortunate in choosing a cafe quickly as the lady was soon turning away customers, no wasn't because it was full, we were the only customers , but it was 40minutes before closing. I could not help but explain customer service ethics 1 to her but she accepted it and soon became engaged in friendly chatter. She still threw out the food she didn't sell to those she turned away and was closed almost on time I guess I misread the time and kept her talking.
After lunch we embarked to a self guided tour of this town having spied a number of intertesting buildings while seeking a parking spot.
Without too much trouble we arrived at the front door of Holy Trinity Rothwell with Orion which claims to be the oldest continous operational church in the UK (their claim) with a crypt (the buring place of the dead with over 10000 recorded individuals).
The front door was open with the welcome sign out, as we entered we were met by the Rector. We assumed he was going to welcome us? Well no instead he told us we couldn't enter as children were present.
Well Rector, father,Pastor we will not be denied entry into God's house and skirted around him to see this place that had the welcome sign out.
Yes apparently a children's summer school was operating but parents or adult assistants were in the ratio of 3 to 1 and as I told the good man both of us did infact hold Working With Children checks an we had no desire to interact with the children but onlywished to observe the architecture of the church.
On our departure apparently we had not upset him and he spoke to us and wished us a safe journey.
On return to London I was saddened to see the following sign on the local Co-op Supermarket. It read "Proud to serve Britain for over 165 years", a sign that conveyed no future instead a reflection on a proud past history.
Perhaps they had already heard of the death of anti establishment Singer Aretha Franklin whose death according to Stevie Wonder was due to "a link between pancreatic cancer and climate change" The fake news media covered his comments that showed a true alarmist approach, what he said was "The deadly form of pancreatic cancer that killed Arethea Franklin can be attributed at least in part to those who don't believe in global warming" Stevie I don't believe in global warming and wont be held responsible for her death, I suggest you travel the world and have someone describe in detail the changes that have taken place in the natural environment over millions of years most of which have occured before civilisation as we know it was evident.
Maybe Brexit needs to be world wide

Greg Lane Some interesting and unique observations Christopher.
Laura What the Writer has conveyed so well in the articulation could well be a lesson for Australia to avoid in our future .......when "The People" cease to care for their country through lethargy they allow a detrimental element, infiltrate the Parliaments the result is anarchy......Who changed the name of "Global Warming" to "Climate Change" must have know that Global Warming" is nonsense ....now "Climate Change" that is another matter..... off course the climate changes!!!!!....always has and always will..... it is a natural occurrence of our Earth ......who is making money out of this rourt .......??????...
