Here we are at Phillip Island again this time to watch World Super Bikes. It's great to be back at such a fantastic track especially to see the first race of the season. We have had two days so far, the track temperature today (Saturday) was the hottest it has ever been 59.4 degrees, the heat is causing so many problems for the riders they just don't have the usual level of grip.
It's great as a spectator sitting in the sun but we are very grateful we have a large parasol with us to hide under.
It was so hot today when we got back to the campsite we went straight in to the ocean with a beer to cool off for an hour or so.
We spoke to Ben yesterday on his birthday and passed on lots of your messages, we are really looking forward to seeing him and Lauren in two days time when we fly to Alice Springs.
