Lake Titicaca Copacabana
Lake Titicaca is the worlds biggest sea in high altitude, extremly beatifull, with great mountains sourrounding the blue water. From the city Copacabana (Bolivia) near the border of Peru is there a perfect view across the water. Copacabana city is little and very cozy.
We arrived in the morning to a great sunny day and apparently a national day of the bolivian people, they were partying all all day, dancing through the streets, looks like great fun.
We started sitting at the beachfront at a little restuarant eating a sandwich and getting some tan. After lunch and a good siesta, we decided to claimb the mountain the hard way, for the perfect picture. Believe me it was hard, in the heat and the altitude combined it was the hardest exercise at the trip so far, needed to stop every 10 minutes. But we of course manage to make it and got the perfect picture of the lake and city, plus some panorama pictures. The top of the maontain was holy for the Bolivians filt with hugh crosses and memorial marks. Still open for tourits.
In the evening we joined the Bolivians for a few beers, cause they were still celebrating and getting drunked, many of the people couldnt even walk around without falling all times.
The day after we enjoyed the weather walked around the city, found some good food and enjoyed the view of the lake so nice!!!
