The plan today was to tour Kalgoorlie Boulder, however the full day of touring was hampered because we have all been sick with gastro. Leason learned (take note Julian). If you don't have the u-beaut filtration system in your van, don't rely on a cheap filter and a sign on a tap saying drinking water. From Fraser Station today we headed to Norseman to re-fuel and grab a few groceries. We had to pay for fresh drinking water at the information centre, but didn't mind. Fuel here was $1.36 as opposed to $1.76 - $1.80 across the Nullarbor. We stopped at Kambalda at a free camp for the night on the way to Kalgoorlie. For our last night in the Nullarbor we treated ourselves to a caravan park at Fraser Range Station, about 80km west of Norseman. As water is always an issue it was good to get all the washing done and have a nice long hot shower. The station was once a sheep station and in the same family for 150 years. We spent Anzac Day on the road getting some kilometers out of the way. To start a quick run into Border Village (84km) to go through the quarantine ckeckpoint and then into WA.
