After the Perintian Islands the next stop on our travels was Penang, not a massive amount to report from Penang...we arrived around 6am after a very long journey from the islands and checked in to the Olive Garden Guesthouse. We spent a couple of days checking out the city...and visited an english pub where we ate bangers and mash!!! VERY cultural! We played around with the idea of heading to Langkawi but in the end decided that it was time to head to Kuala Lumpu...

30th October 06 After catching the Fast Boat to the Small Island (the Perinthians are made up of two islands - Small Island and Big Island!) we realised we were in our own episode of Lost!! Everything was closed up as the monsoon was on it's way so only 2 places were open - a swanky honeymoon resort which had about 2 guests...and Paradise Bungalows where we stayed!!
