So Cunard announced they were building a new Queen Elizabeth, and on her third cruise she was going to go to Venice and other exotic places we hadn't ever thought of visiting. This was too good a chance to pass up, what with our previous passenger discounts and all!!!

We waited whilst they built the ship - updates regularly posted with videos on the Cunard site showing footage of the staterooms, public rooms etc. So much excitement leading up to the launch of the ship and then our turn to be passengers aboard her.......

How exciting!!!! On long service leave, packing done, children all organised....... ready to go!!!!
