This morning we went up to brekky, to find the top management team leaving. We put in our breakfast order and then a lovely staff member brought out some sparkling orange juice to celebrate Tom's birthday. We returned to our villa, packed and reluctantly left. We have been made to feel like special people, we were wrapped in a cocoon and nurtured from the moment we drove through the front gate. It has been blissful.

On arrival at terminal 2 in Singapore we had to get a shuttle bus over to terminal 3. So much walking. We had to put our watches forward 3 hours. We departed Singapore airport, flight to Sydney then caught the trail Emu Plains where Chari picked us up and drove us home.

All packed and ready to go. My suitcase is very light and looks half-empty..... What have I forgotten??? Looking forward to experiencing life in Japan, albeit as a tourist. Uncertain of how we'll go language-wise, but impatient for the adventure to start. Anticipating beautiful landscapes.

This morning we had our last lovely breakfast by the pool and then did our packing. After handing in our keys we went up the street and did a crawl of the shops looking for a wide brimmed sun visor for me, one that covers my ears and more of my face. Then it was slowly off back down the coast, stopping in at Palm Cove to walk along the beach and the wharf, and Yorkeys k*** closer to Cairns where we discovered a marina with a boat club that served a lovely lunch. ...
