Today was another quiet day. It's windy outside, but not too windy to stop someone from having their canoe breakfast! Quite a production that draws everyone onto their balconies with their cameras, phones and iPads. The people in the bungalow next to us have had a hire car for the last couple of days for them and their three grown up children (celebrating mum's 50th birthday), but we came here for a very quiet resort holiday, a novelty for us. Alas! 'Twas raining when we awoke - that meant our planned breakfast has to be postponed :( Part of our package includes a breakfast delivered by canoe (which they pronounce as canoe-ee???). But that's okay! We went to the buffet breakfast and the chef on duty made some awesome omelettes to go with our sausages followed by fresh fruit! Today was a day of total rest and relaxation! The most stressful thing? Not knowing when that lovely Polynesian lady would come to make our bed and give us fresh towels! Up early this morning (6.00am) so we could shower, shave, shampoo, have breakfast and be in reception at 8am for our tour pick up. Breakfast was a wonderful buffet in the restaurant with all the usual juices (mango), cereals, yogurts, cooked brekky and fruit. So - Sunday again - Up early this morning for another shower. It is very humid, although we slept with the aircon on all night. Just a few hours sleep then showered, dressed and ready for the 8am pickup from reception. This transfer took us through Papeete to the ferry terminal where we boarded the ferry for Moorea.
