After a night that seemed to take forever, we breakfasted, packed last-minute items and headed for the train station. Doing a bit of a convoy, and with the help of a neighbour we managed to all make it there with our luggage. The train trip to Central took forever, and then we caught the Airport bus out to Mascot. We had an early Macca's lunch, visited "The Chocolate Box"where the youngsters bought some goodies, then lined up for baggage check-in (the first ones there!!!). Straight through Departure Gates then shopping at Duty Free shops where we bought more goodies. We boarded at 3.05, back out at 3.45 and then taxiied for 20 mins before finally taking off!!

The movies on the plane for everyone to watch were "Patch Adams" and "My Favourite Martian". Jessie ran a temperature all night (the panadol's in the cargo!!) - but cough medicine was handy. Shannon and I enjoyed assembling our new cameras.

We finally arrived, collected our luggage etc and got our shuttle to our very basic motel. We all went for a walk around the neighbourhood, checked out some local stores, had pizza for dinner and went to bed. We have Rooms 116 & 118, adjoining.
