Colleen & Tom's Explorations
We had a bit of a rough night - came out of the sheltered waters to enter the Pacific Ocean and travel down to Sitka.
When we awoke (alarm at 6am for Jess and I, before going on our tour) we were already moored.
Sitka doesn't have a wharf, so after Jess and I breakfasted we gathered with our tour companions in the theatre and were taken by tender over to the town.
We had a tour of Sitka (including schools, Macca's, Subway and their only set of traffic lights), watched a performance of Russian Dancers and went to a Totem Park.
After our 2 1/2 hour tour we arrived back for lunch and were seated at tables adjoining Servio and Manuel's area - they made a great fuss over us.
This afternoon we attended the art auction where Clare bought 1 $75 painting and won 2 others!!
