Been in Saigon (Hoi Chi Min) the last 2 nights. The place is massive and traffic is crazy - worse than Hanoi. Theres over 3 million motor bikes here! When I was coming into Saigon on the bus it was strange to see how many Catholic churches there are here. On the 1st day I went to see the Notre Dame Cathedral - its nice but doesnt come close to the one in Paris, the Reunification Palace - strange place, and the War Remnants Museam which was a bit horrific at part...

Running a bit behind with this blog so I'll motor on through. Mui Ne is a beautiful beach. We got a bungalow right on the beach. Just stayed here 2 nights - no nightlife here. Went to the sand dunes and did some sand sledding. Met a canadian girl who told me her father lived in Derry over 30 years ago - for 10 years. His family had the first chinese restaurant in Derry called Chopsticks..??? Her parents are Tawainese. Almost got to do a bit of DJing one night...

Arrived here yesterday - its another beach town. The beach is 100 yards from my hotel. I was supposed to go on a boat trip this morning but I was too hungover! Jo the girl Ive been travelling through Vietnam with got her camera and phone stollen - the cops wanted 50 dollars off her to get the forms stamped for the insurance! On the last day here we went to Vinpearl waterpark - to get there we took the worlds longest sea crossing cable car.

Just arrived in Hoi An today - havent seen much of it yet but the weather is amazing. Its got beaches! And its not far from the famous China Beach. Off to sit at the pool now. I'll be here for at least 3 days catching some rays - its a hard life! By the way - Happy birthday Sean!!!!! Update - Went to the Marble Mountains and China Beach on the last day here.

Stayed here just the one night - in abit of hurry to get to other places - my visa is up on the 30th and theres lots to do. We just spent the day walking around the sites - the imperial city, some American tanks and then a boat trip.
