Leaving Thailand tonight to head for Laos. We will reach the border early in the morning and then get the 2 day boat trip down the Mekong to a city called Luang Prabang. Theres 10 of us going together. North Thailand has been great and Pai has definately been my favorite - its brilliant!

Not much report from Pai. Its most chilled out town ever. They even have t-shirts saying 'come to Pai do nothing' ! Its great but. All we do is go for drives into the hills or mountains to waterfalls or hotsprings. I did go fishing again the other day and caught a big piranha and a catfish- some fight off them. NEWS FLASH!!!!!! Army is off home! We left Chiang Mai 2 days ago where Army left his new love 'Ay' to go to place in the hills of north Thailand called Pai, close to the Burma border. Its a small picturesque town chilled out, where everyone knows everyone. And its cheap a Feck too! Im staying in a beach style hut beside the river for 3 quid a night.
