Arrived in Vientiene (Viang Chan) Yesterday - its the capital of Laos. Good to be back in a city again after being out the wilderness for over a month or so.

Its not a bad place - alot of French influences.

Anyway I'll not be here for long, just ordered my visa for Vietnam and it arrives in wed. Think Im gonna take a flight, cant face the 30 hour bus journey. Especially since the roads are so bad.
