4th day now in Phnom Penh. It really is very poor - went down streets today full of rubbish everywhere, and thousands of people are working and living there. I moved house 2 days ago from the riverside to the lakeside which is far cheaper. Its a massive lake surrounded by shantytown-style shacks with a small backpacker area at one part of it.
