Hi all,

Well we have made it to Switzerland and it is fab! Having a fantastic time in Geneva. Amazing views of the snow topped Alps and the Lake. We went to the top of the cathedral today to see the city at its best. Also went on a boat across the lake, it was lovely. So many things to see and do - we love it. There are also lots of exciting shops and designer labels too. Having fun window shopping and have treated ourselves to lots of bars of Lindt chocolate - it is very reasonably priced, so why not! . Alongside the expensive shops there are loads and loads of snazzy cars, to name a few (for the benefit of Dad and Tom) we have seen a Bugatti, Ferrari Spider, Aston Martin Vanquish, Jaguars, Porsches in several varieties, Mercs, the new BMW and many many others. We were so busy car spotting we nearly missed our road to the youth hostel. There is lots of money in Geneva - we wish we had it so then we could stay in the hotel de ville and be chauffed round in a posh car. Going to botanical gardens tomorrow and along the jetty to the fountain (in pic). Also might do more winsow shopping and go on the lake again (we have a free pass for 3 days - yah!)
