hi all

the comps in milan are rubbish, we havent been able to load any pics for a week! we are off to switzerland tomorrow and hope that the comps there will be better. have to say we are not impressed with milan. there is not much to do and we have seen much better shops in florence and venice. instead of spending time in the centre we have gone on day trips to the alps. yesterday we went to a place called bergamo at the foot of the hills. there was a grand duomo and some beautiful botanical gardens with spectacular views over the valley and hills. today we went to lake como - what a large lake and very beautiful. it was a wee bit chilly when we arrived and we could see the snow on the hills in the distance. but the sun was out and it soon warmed up and we even treated ourselves to an icecream :).
