I have been paying way too much latly on tours and excursions that I feel I need to find a good cheap hostel to stay at and just relax and not spend too much money! So today I said goodbye to the nice people at Mr Clean hostel and caught a bus to Phuket. I think I may have got ripped off for the ticket as I paid 220 baht for it and it stopped a million times and took over 3 hours!! after getting dropped off at the bus station I was hounded my taxi drivers who were asking for 100 bahts to take me 1/5 kilometers to my hostel. I decided to walk a little and then got a motorbike taxi for 20 baht- it was a bit risky as I had a big backpack on my back!

I checked into a really nice hostel called"Phuket Backpackers" which is located in phuket town. Since getting here i have met loads of people as the hostel has a big lounge, big tv, loads of dvds and books and best of all free internet! I think every1 is about to put a dvd on- think we are watching anchorman. Anyway since getting here I eat at a local restaurant I got vegetarian pad thai which was just delicious and it only cost 30 baht (40p). I am just going to relax today and head for Patong beach tomorrow as buses go there on regular intervals and only cost 20 baht.
