The last few days I have met loads of people at the Phuket Backpackers hostel. I have mainly been watching movies, and eating awesome Thai food. I keep going to the same lady down the road from the hostel! I went to Patong beach and walked around the town a little. Its been nice just to relax for a few days and not do anything - its helped me get closer to being back on budget. I booked my bus ticket today to leave for Malaysia tommorow. I bought my ticket from Phuket bus terminal to Haad Yai for 371 Baht which leaves at 8.30am and arrives in Haad Yai at 4.30pm. I then have to catch either the 5pm or 7pm bus to Kuala Lumpar which takes about another 7/8 hours as I have been told. Its going to be a long day tomorrow! I will arrive at my hostel in Kuala lumpur in the early hours of the 6th December. I hope I will get a ticket for the connecting bus. Tour operators offered to pick me up from Hostel and to get tickets for both buses for 1500 baht but I have decided to do it myself- lets hope it pays off!!
