Argggggggghhhhhhhh!! I typed the ***** blog twice now (and it's a long one- last 4 days!) and my computer shut down because there is this really stupid button on my keyboard under the delete button that says "Power" and my fat fingers keep hitting and my computer shuts down!!! OK start again! The last 4 days have been some of the best and some of the worst.4 days ago from Koi Samui i caught a bus, then ferry, then bus and then taxi to reach my destination - Krabi Town. I checked into the B&B guesthouse. The following 2 days were the worst of trip so far because;1)There were building works going on in the guesthouse 2) because of this there was a curfew of 10.30pm! 3) the guesthouse was empty so it was very difficult to meet people 4) There is not much to do in Krabi Town and I left my guidebook in a restaurant in Bangkok so didn't really know what I was doing. Anyway as I had paid for 2 nights when I booked the guesthouse through hostelbrooker I stayed there. I spent my time catching up on sleep, going to the night market, and walking near the river and park. A pretty boring time. 28/11/2007After two depressing days I got my act together and booked myself onto a tour of 4 islands. I traveled by longtail boat to Poda Island, Tub Island, Phra Nang Cave and Chicken Island. These islands are very beautiful and I had an amazing time. The tour company I booked it through was great and I would highly recommend them; "Krabi Please, travel and tour". I paid 400 baht for the day which includes pick up from hostel and food, snorkeling gear etc. Today was a very good day for a number of reasons;1)I went on a tour of the Phi Phi Islands by speedboat (where the film beach was filmed). Some really amazing natural beauties although some areas were very busy and as a result ruining the landscape/enjoyment.2)I met some really cool people from all over the world e.g. Italy, Sweden, Denmark, London3)Some of these people were very knowledgeable and it was great to get a snapshot of their life and experiences and take some of their advice. E.g. met someone who was a real estate lawyer from NY and had worked for Goldmans, it was great hearing here point of view on business etc.I had previously gone into more detail about the daytrip but don't have time to re-write it!! Hope everyone is well!!!
