We left the Cameron Highlands today (4 of us from the Fathers guest house) and caught a bus at 2.30 which left at 3pm. It arrived in Penang at about 9pm. The bus driver lied to us about the bus ending in Gergetown...it stopped about 25km away from where we needed to be! I checked out of my hostel in KL on Tuesday and spent the next two days in the Cameron Highlands. The bus from KL to CH cost 23 RM and was suppose to take 3 & 1/2 hours but took 5. Toay I went to the KL Mentra Tower which costs 20 RM to go up. Its a bit of a walk to get up there but its well worth it. From the tower there are amazing views of the city and all the main attractions. There is a shuttle bus that takes you back to the city for free so its worth using it if you dont want to walk! Yesterday it was raining all day, but luckily for me a huge shopping mall called Berjaya Time Square is a 30 second walk from my hostel! This shopping centre has a theme park inside it with a rollercoaster, imax, cinema, bowling, supermarket, loads of restaurants and shops! Its massive!
