Right so last time we updated you guys we had organised ourselves a trip up the west coast to Exmouth. We were up early Friday to get the train into Perth, to catch our coach, after a bit of a miss-understanding as to where we were being picked up from, we were finally on board and on the road. First stop was the pinnacles desert, which was pretty cool, as it was a desert with all these rock formations coming out of it. We then went on to do some sand boarding, which was a killer, but so much fun! It was seriously windy, as a cyclone had just passed, so we had sand everywhere!! and climbing up the dunes was a bloody nightmare!
The next day we went to the z bend gorge, we started of by looking down at this view point, then began our decent down, which again was really cool. We then went to natures window, which was another walk to see a rock formation in the shape of a window, with a pretty impressive view. That evening we stayed at a hostel, which was also an animal rescue centre and this guy bought out a baby kangaroo called buck, (buck - a - roo) which I got to hold!! He was so cute and only 10 months old!! We then went to a natural hot spring, where we sat in a hot tub and had a BBQ. Until we noticed we weren't alone in the hot tub and quickly got out!
Sunday we went to Monkey Mia, which was amazing! We saw dolphins come right up to the shore waiting to be fed. The first time we saw them there were lots of people, so we didnt get all that close, but 30 mins later we noticed they had come back, so got to get really close to the dolphins and both Me and Dave got picked to feed them, which was fantastic. After there, we went on to shell beach which was really lovely. It was a beach made entirely from shells and was so lovely. That afternoon we stopped of at the stromatolites which wasnt as impressive, but still quite cool as they are the oldest living organisms in the world.
