Well my birthday was memorable to say the least. The Aussies have some stupid rule that if your too drunk your not allowed in places. I know what your thinking its the same in England but trust me its a nightmare. Having been refused entry to about 3 different places (not based on my ability to walk Ill have you know) We eventually managed to pull off being sober long enough to get passed the bouncers of a club. The club did cheap drinks and had some people having a dance off but was a pretty lame place in all.

The next few days were a bit uneventful as it decided to rain and when your in a small sea side town it doesn't leave you with many things to do.

Yesterday we left Byron Bay and went to Nimbin which is quite possibly the strangest place ever. Its a little hippy town known for its alternative life style. Having wondered round the town for a couple of hours and having picked up a few "souvenirs" we made our way to Surfers paradise. Were hoping to spend the next few nights here to get in some surfing lessons before heading up to Brisbane so good times!!
