Our last few days in Nicaragua. It`s been great, despite Alma`s appearance. We`ve climbed volcanoes and swum in their craters, enjoyed pleasant evenings in the restaurants and bars of Granada and Leon and crossed the huge Lake Nicaragua by overnight ferry, bringing us here to San Carlos. A river trip up the Rio San Juan tomorrow will be our final excursion before crossing the border into Costa Rica. More news to come...
