Three refreshing days in Singapore, exploring new sights, shopping and reconnecting with friends. Friday was catching up on some sleep and checking out the local neighbourhood and shops, finished off by the most delicious lamb shanks prepared by Tiri over the previous 24 hours, complete with champagne, to celebrate our wedding anniversary. …

Hi, Just catching up with your blog and amazed to see how small the world is. Cortona is where my niece is getting married in October, in the cathedral. We might need some notes from you about things to do in the area!!
Holiday sounds fabulous and good work for keeping up the blog, it is hard when the competition is limoncello!!

Likewise with Wendy about the immediacy of the information and the excellent format and tenor of the blog. Coupled with that is the opportunity to critique your pics. Hope you've got a horizontal format pic of Michelle sitting in the colourful outside restaurant - great converging lines leading to the distant lane!!

A good start to a damp Monday morning back here, reading about your adventures in Croatia! How things have changed in letting family know how your trip is going, almost instant. M

Thanks Trevor. Thoughts are noted and sorry about the jealous bit. The great news is we are enjoying the routine of taking thirty minutes on a boat or train, or restaurant to write this up and transfer the photos over. The best purchase I have made is an Apple iPad photo card reader. I'm backing all my photos up on the iPad.

Well done.
Looks great and really good commentary - but make sure you are enjoying the holiday and not feeling obligated to spend the time stuck into a computer keeping the rest of us amused and jealous.
Having said that keep the pics coming.
