Today we went on a tour of the island. So in a private air conditioned car we were driven to various places interesting to tourists. "View point" gives a nice view of the beaches along Karong & Kata. Arrived in Phuket today. Didn't get to the hotel until about 2pm. Plane was delayed by 2 hours because of a passenger ill on board who had to disembark in Bangkok before we took off.
