Left Clare yesterday with intentions of travelling only to Port Broughton on York Peninsular but were disappointed with what was there and that it was raining. Decided to travel towards Port Lincoln and after going through Port Augusta and Whyalla we finished up in Cowell at 4.30pm. Main caravan park was booked out and we got the last site at the only other park a couple of kms out of town. By then all the food places were closed so eggs for tea not seafood.

These small seaside places don't seem to have much going for them unless you have a boat and like fishing. Had a look at the local jade jewellery outlet and had a guided tour of the oyster processing shed. Local oysters are great and amm looking foward to a feed tonight.

Tomorrow we are heading for Port Lincoln and Coffin Bay for a few days.

Wednesday

Travelled to Port Lincoln once again into a strong headwind. Stopped at Tumby Bay for smoko. Nice spot with good facilities.

Still raining and windy. Caravan park is pretty good and we stocked up on fish and prawns for a feed of Sashimi, Will add more as we will be here for 4 or 5 days.
