We went to check out at 12pm today but they let us keep the key to our room and leave our bags in there as they didn't have anybody else checking in. We headed out to the restaurant that we went to last night as we had left our brolly there. A member of staff had stolen the brolly and taken it home with them so we had to go back for it later once they had brought it back.
We had a nice last lunch and then went to an internet cafe to upload and sort our pictures. We had a mooch around town and then went for dinner before heading to the airport. The restaurant was a nice last place to go and was very relaxed, just like Ubud! We had our last Asian dish here!
We set off at 5.45pm for the airport and it took about an hour to get there. The owner of our accommodation drove us for 250,000 rupiah. Once we got to the airport it took ages to queue to check in and by the time we were through it was just about time to board. Security were checking bags for batteries and lighter fluid which weren't allowed in your main bag, which was weird as that is usually where they are suppose to be kept if you are carrying them on. They were scanning everyone's bag with a gun machine to detect these things.
It was a normal small plane but it had a meal included flight. We flew at 9.10pm which was an awkward time to fly as once the meal had come round there wasn't much time to sleep. It was only a 6 hour flight so we didn't get much sleep at all. We had some really bad turbulence on the way too which was pretty scary but we got to Brisbane fine!
