When we arrived back last night, the music from the beach was so loud we didn't get to sleep for a while, respect! Rachael got up to the toilet as the sun was coming up and the music was still going! At about 7.00am it finally stopped so we got a few hours of peace and quiet before heading out into town. After breakfast we headed to the beach for a couple of hours. We had successfully managed to cover ourselves and all our belongings in sand so popped back into town to book our boat to Ko Tao for the morning after the Full Moon Party, quick getaway and all that. We managed to have a kip before the music started up again and in the early evening Rachael rung home and Tom managed to watch the Burnley game. We had tea on the beach and sat and watched people fire throwing and dancing as the music gradually got louder and people including us got gradually more drunk.
The most popular drinks here are served to you in buckets. You get a 1/4 bottle of any spirit of your choice (we opted of course for the cheapest option which was Thai Rum) mixed in a bucket with coke, red bull and ice. Definite wrecking tackle! After a few Changs and a bucket each we were ready for home, a Chicken Schnitzel each and just missed the sun coming up by about half an hour.
