We both slept awful last night as the monsoon rains battered our tin roof all night long and it continued to rain into the morning. At the sight of it easing we went to see the town, en route the rains started again and Tom without a coat was soon wet through. We ran in a bar to wait on the rains to calm, they didn't so we had no option but to walk the twenty minutes back. All the drains were overflowing, and cockroaches running everywhere, one even ran up Tom's leg!

Arriving back to the guest house we both washed the dirty water from us and due to the rain couldn't actually do anything for the next few hours.

During the evening we went to the night bazaar, but everything was closed due the weather. Shared at a fish and noodles then returned home. Tomorrow Chiang Saen.
