It rained a little during the night but thankfully our trusty tent held up. When we got up this morning, the weather still wasn't great. The main reason people come to Airlie Beach is to use it as means of travelling out to the Whitsunday Islands. We however were not visiting the islands, we looked into the trips available and they were all quite expensive also with the weather not being great we didn't want to pay out a large sum of money and have the trip spoiled due the bad weather.

That evening the weather got even worse and it rained all night .We went to bed hoping not to wake up in a big puddle.
