On Wednesday 23rd December we said goodbye to Aimee as she was leaving the apartment at 10am for work. We walked to North Sydney train station which was a 15 minute walk from the apartment and got a train to Wynyard. The last couple of days have been very chilled out. Over the weekend we haven't done much which has been great. We travelled through the night for about 14 hours. Gina and I have previously done an overnight Greyhound bus before so we knew what to expect. It's not an enjoyable bus journey to say the least. We had to wake up really early this morning as we were going up to the lighthouse to see the sunrise. The bus had been fixed finally and we left the hostel at 4.45am. There were loads of people going to the lighthouse so the bus had to make two trips. It was really dark outside and I was feeling very tired.
