Saturday
We had such a great time yesterday at the poets we decide to go again and this time we have breakfast there as well. Yum - $12 for 2 eggs, a sausage, bacon, hash brown, beans and toast. Another brilliant performance by all the poets. Completely different show from yesterday. 10/10
Next stop was the Emerging Artists where we listened to Arna Georgia who we’d also seen at Gresford in June. She has a beautiful voice.
Back to camp for lunch and then an afternoon of The Pigs. Although it was late afternoon and still quite warm we had taken all our winter woollies with us as www ere staying down here for the nights entertainment. This time we were in the mosh pit so you can imagine how hot and squishy it was. Love The Pigs and they were brilliant as usual.
After this it was up the the main stage for Troy Cassar-Daly who sung a duet with his wife - lovely. We had pizza for dinner again.
I had been recovering from an ear infection when we started this holiday and had a mildly sore throat yesterday and today. While watch Troy this was becoming progressively worse.
The next act was an orchestra from Melbourne and while they were OK they were in the completely wrong time slot. Took too long to set up and not the right genre for prime time Saturday night. Becky Cole was to follow but as I was not feeling well we went back to camp and I went to bed.
