Saturday
We leave fairly early this morning and head for Caboolture to meet up with Nick. A quick catch up and we are back on the road arriving at Amamoor just before lunch.

At the entry gate to the Muster we are given directions to Poulsen’s Hill which will be home for the next 8 nights.
Brad and Ron had been to the site the week before and roped off our sites (we did have to pay extra to be able to do this but it was well worth it). Tina sent directions - drive to the tree in the centre then left then we are on top of the hill.

By this time though there are heaps of roped off sites and we had come in a different gate. We were dreading trying to find our site imagining we would be going up and down every street.
Martin slowed while I looked at the photos noticing the tape used was red and white striped. We were actually right next to it at this point. Brad and Ron had left a mud map attached to the site pegs and we set up on the site we thought they had suggested for us. Turns out we read the map wrong but it didn’t really matter.

After setting up the van we had lunch and were just packing up when Dan and Jan arrived. Once they were set up we bought some firewood from the local school and started our first camp fire.
We talked for a while comparing stories of our travels to Gympie and planning our activities for the next few days.
We had a relatively early night.
