"Don't get ye b******s in a twist..."
Finally we worked an affordable way to hire a car! Just ment we had to get all the way west to Killarney to pick it up and drive it up to Galway! After speaking to your boy at the last bed and breakfast he said we should drive the Beare Peninsula. So we got to Killarney another small town for a night and to get the car. While there we saw the national park which makes up part of the ring of Kerry. Another hugely popular tourist drive. All so pretty and green with lakes and mountains. The drive we did included the best parts of the ring of Kerry and then all the way out on the Beare Peninsula. Ive never driven such tight twisty roads. And they had a speed limit of 100kmph. There was no chance even in our VW golf we could do that. Blind one lane corners every where and no straight sections to get over 60!
We eventually got all the way around and went north for Galway. To get there though we had to make up some time on the motor way to get on the car ferry at Talbert. In the end we made that easy, ferried the car over and continued to drive North. We got a hostel last minute in Galway and went out for a feed. We were recommended a pizza joint. Ment to be tasty and cheap so we took a look. Oh wow. Easy the best pizza I've ever had. There was extra garlic and chilli olive oil and they made it. Dias was saying better than Italy!
Following day in Galway and it rained all day. But still we walked and explored what there is to. It's not much the city is really small. Nice though. That night was fun one with a few Irish whiskeys before calling it so we can get on the 845 bus to Belfast!
