"All the lights go down as I crawl into the spaces..."

Sorry it's so late. I've been in bit of an internet black hole since Marseille.
As I left Nice I met Cristine, who is from Montreal and spoke fluent French! So handy! And then it turns out she was going to Marseille for the day so I had my own translator. We meet another one of her friends and explored all day. Around gardens, various neighbour hoods, up the hill to the Notre Dame, and all around the port. It's a nice enough city but it was very dirty and a little dodgey, and at night it got much worse. Plus there was so many beggars in the streets! All the walking killed me and once the girls trained it out I checked into the hostel and just flaked out. Not before meeting a new crew though who had plans to see the La Cleaque the following day.
So with a new team again we caught the 40 minute bus and then began the 40 minute hike to the lagoon. All was well till my thongs died and I had to borrow Jasons just to get there! It was worth every minute of that walk. So beautiful (see photos again) and just to keep the boys entertained cliff jumping! Most of the various heights where fine and safe enough except one. This had to be at least 20 meters up and had me second guessing how good of idea it was. Still we sucked it up and threw our selves off it. :)
Other thing I'll take from Marseille but is the food. Crepes! Yum! Baguettes! Yum! And Macaroons! Oh sugary goodness!
