"Hey! You think see me..."

Let's just get past it right now, yes Nice is nice. Ok, went there.
The views the coast the beach, all epic! Although the beach is rocks. And they ship the rocks in! Why not ship sand? Rookie error. Anyway water is still so amazing, crystal clear and so warm. There was even some rocks off to the side of the beach to throw yourself off. Naturally this was a days activity for us. Us ended up being a great group of new friends Kate, Han, Helen, Tom, Maddy and Darren. We also spent a night drinking cheap champagne on the beach which ended in some of us stripping down to our underwear and swimming trying to fit on the "lie lo's" we had.
The hostel we were all in was really cool to. Had spaghetti night which was only $1 all you can eat! Then you back that up with more free champagne. It's cheap and nasty stuff but seemed to do the job!
While we where in town the French round of the Ironman was on. Darren was actually in it. That day was huge with so many people on the road side and around the finish line. We where there as a Belgium athlete won and the crowd was going off. And they didn't stop till the last competitors came in nearly 9hrs later!
The other must do in Nice was the old town. Skinny streets, heaps of little restaurants bars market style shops and ice cream ha ha! You could easily get lost in there. Bounced out today, bit further round the coast to Marseille hoping for more of the same.
