After a quiet night's sleep in the old part of Lubljana I went for a little walk and came upon the annual marathon kick off through the streets of the old town. All very exciting as the very healthy Slovenians headed off for their runs.
Back at the hotel my guide Katerina was waiting for me. We took another tour of the town, had a delicious lunch and got out of town and into the Triglav National Park in the Julian Alps. Wonderful.
Took a short but very steep climb to a waterfall that we could walk behind and under. Simply beautiful.
Now I am resting my weary feet in my room at the farmhouse.
We have some climbing to do tomorrow so the long night's rest should be just the trick.
