The overnight at the very peaceful farmhouse was a great introduction to life in the Julian Alps. Tanya was very cheery and welcoming; lots of people were celebrating birthdays there all day but everything quietened down overnight.

Next morning a very hearty breakfast and a nice chat with the owner who thrived on being the hub of the valley.
