Its been way too long!

So this is the next chapter of my life here in Khao Lak!

So after my negative slant on my last blog... this one is a lot more positive!

So I was settling in here nicely... handing resume's out each day, relaxing on the beach, socalising at night... you know, finding a routine! Cato my roommate was lucky to find work with IQ (a dive company) before the season started (1st nov)... i was getting a little nervous and reluctantly starting putting together a plan B...

So Cato went on a visa run/10 days dive holiday in indonesia so i was heading out with other friends i had met here and yeah it was lots of fun. i was meeting people from dive companys and enjoying life... smiling more, dancing crazier.. you know what im like. anyways i met this dude felix (no attraction whatsoever!!!) at Monkey bar at 4 am in the morning. Felix is from KSA (Khao Lak scuba Adventures) and we chatted and we got along really well. He gave me the name of the manager and tolkd me to pop down and see here tomorrow! So i did! Alex is an english girl and we hit it off straight away!

Ok (insert substory here) ----> This year Wicked diving has a new manager named Aldo! really nice italian guy... anyways on the wicked staff trip we chatted and got along pretty well... he has been over to our pad for dibnner and drinks a few times! one of those guys thats easy to get along with! So he knew i was looking for work and he promised to call a few friends for me and give a high recommendation for me!

(back to original story)----> anyways alex rang wicked diving and talked to Aldo asking if there were any freelancers he knows and reccommends... and my name was brought up,... blah blah blah.... the next thing i know Alex calls be back and im on an overnight trip on manta queen 3!!!

The trip on manta queen 3 couldnt have done better! i was guiding one diver and was paid 2400 baht ($70) for the 2 days and he gave me 2000 in trips!!! so good.

we arrive back in khao lak and i find out im booked to go on manta queen 2, 4 day, 4 night liveabaord in 10 minutes..... so obviously i jump at the chance... have a coffee and jump into work mode!!

The trip was awesome... 14 dives.. 2 spanish instructors i was guiding! just perfect!

Got back and i was highly recommended and got the next trip out on manta queen 2 leaving the next day! i literally just stepped off the boat... its been fun!

gotta go quickly.. friends just arrived with beer! promise to write again soon! xxx
