So i finished my last blog with big visa hopes and in hindsight I should be writing this blog from China. Instead Bangkok delivered a visa s*** storm. 3 consecutive days waking up early, walking to the train station, catching the train to Ram 9 station and walking to the chinese embassy to be bombarded with seeminly never-ending queues of people, just to find out that we need more infomation. each visit they wanted more and more and knife in the coffin was that we cannot enter without an air ticket... and we were told that we dont need to use it, just purchase one!!! ARGGHHHH. So after then 3rd day embassy rejection, becks and I made a decision over delicious eggs florentine (society club, Si Lom) to end this ridiculous uphill battle and escape the Bangkok way of mind and head north to Chiang Mai to try our luck in a rural chinese embassy.
