The last few days have been travel days. We had another 40 hour crossing to get from teluk Kumai to palau tundu via the java sea. Catching up on in-needed sleep, watching movies and reading was just about the extent of my travel days. Wait I remember some outburst of excitement...ricky, Jo ad Amanda organised a rummykin (or rummykub to the English :) )tournament. Ali and I were 'team oh team' and failed to advance the first round! Haaha. Jo whipped out a treasure hunt. Winner gets a one hr lesson on driving the jaya... ME!
And also we did a dress up pirate night. Some fun pics to look out for.
Anyways this morning we arrived early to Palau tundu. The drive throughout the night was pretty wet which is a nice change to the scenery. we he been so so lucky with the weather. It's been flat, wind has been with us mostly so we have been making good times on crossings. Sun has been out shining. So it's nice to change it up.
3 dives today! Really really nice. More juvenile harlequin sweetlip, juvenile shaded batfish, tiny unidentifiable gold octopus, biggest cuttlefish I've seen, crazy cool nudies, shrimps, juvenile bicolor parrotfish, pigmy seahorse.... The list goes on. Really nice!
Tonight we set sail probolingo (if the sea is calm we will make it by early morning). There, we will be having an overnight 3/4 up mount bromo, an active volcano. Well I'm not too sure the details but I will after I get back!
Early to bed tonight. I might settle in and watch a movie! Ah the life.
Everyones getting along great. We have some couples on board, friends and singles and everyone one can mix with each other if the wish, no one is ever excluded. No one is too crazy about doing something every second so everyone can go do their own thing... Relax... Withdraw into their own cabin without being hassled. Its awesome. I had no idea I would be getting to relax this much!
Ps. Day 11 no drinking :)
