Day 3! Woke up this morning By Amanda's friendly greetings at 6am! Made myself a cup up of coffee. I felt great! Revived, clear and fresh! Ready for the days adventures. As I sat down with my coffee on top deck i was greeted with a "how did you sleep??". "I slept really well" I responded. "what?!!! What about the storm!." apparently I had slept through the big storm! Everyone except me was sitting on the top deck except me! The boat was apparently rocking to violently tables and eskies were sliding everywhere!!! Haha. And I slept through it all! Awesome! Now I cone to think of it the i see yawns, dreary eyes and a slight grumpiness from the gang! Oh well :)
We had moored up at some point in the night at a little island .7 degrees north of the equator called Palau Pejantan! stunning little isnd with a coral atol surrounding it. Gorgeous colours of picturesque paradises! Hmm jealous :) ha. A few shacks and fishing boat but nothing else! A few indigenous girls canoed over to us asking for food. Chubby as they were, we gave in and passed on a few cans of pepsi! Bigs smiles :)
2 dives around this island! The first one was stunning! Lots of new nudies, bright corals. Super nice!
A little lunch, then beach time.. Then off we set, this time heading straight for the equator! When we arrive (completely in the blue) we jump in for our 3rd dive of the trip and enjoy the novelty of being able to day "we have dived on the equator"!! Woohoo! Great moment for all on board :)
Moving on once more.. Another long stretch. Not quiet sure where we are headed but wake up call is 7:30pm and the day is revolving around 2 or 3 dives. We will see. I'm just enjoying the journey!
Great group of people. I'll chat more about them in my blogs to come!
More tomorrow!
