Usually I don't really write much about bus days - we had to catch a bus from Paihia to Auckland at 8am then Auckland to Thames, then Thames to Coromandel arriving t 5pm... we knew it would be a long day! It started off pretty normally and we had some lunch at our usual (we like to call it that because we went there before with Lisa and Sam). I even managed to crack out some revision on the second bus deciding a week off maths is probably the most I can afford......

We started our third day in Paihia quite early (funnily enough, anna and I had had a fair bit of sleep! - however Mel still hasn't had a full nights sleep...). Yesterday we arrived in Paihia after a 4 hour bus journey from Auckland. It was pretty long but after those flights not really that bad. We had nice views and a stop in the middle so overall not hating the coaches! When we arrived it was really easy to find our hostel as we just followed the beach and turned right into Backpackers Street... Its a good hostel!
