Ive arrived at the hostel (wrong one lol) and Im waiting for my welcome drink along with 2 people who will be on my tour and also made the same mistake.

But rewind a bit Ive met some really funny people. This Turkish guy Can who joined my flight at Madrid, he doesnt even know where he´s going just kinda jumping flights. He said he wanted to study in Belo Horizonte Im not so sure but he kept laughing :)

Did not sit with him on the flight!

Ended up next to Omer who is from Oxford - much more normal. Switched life stories and the 10 hour flight was a lot more bearable. Slept loads and ate loads of food they just kept dishing it out. I now agree plane food is horrible!

Anyway Omer was going to meet a friend at Rio who was going with him to his hostel, we agreed to share a taxi if they were near. When we got there turned out they were next door to each other! Perfect!

Oh Can and Omer made friends at Passport Controlo lol. Anyway Can decides after much deliberation to stay in Rio at the guys´ hostel. Were telling the taxi driver where to go when Omers friend informs me that there are 2 El Misti hostels. Im meeting my tour group at Copacabana tomorrow. Ive booked myself a bed at the one in... erm... somewhere else. Its nearby.

Anyway its on the way so wasnt a problem. Ive met a couple who are on a Tucan tour tomorrow too so Ill go with them about 6ish tomorrow.

My bed is the top of a triple bunk bed and was hillarious putting the sheets on.

Well Ive got my drink and Ive written a lot.

Cant believe Im here but Im having such a fun time :)
