Since I only had 2 full days at the hostel I thought it was best I fully explore the island one of the days like on a bike or moped, I got told it's best just to get a day pass and do the routes reception recommended.
Got dropped off at Arcadia and just next to there is a wild wallaby place where you can feed them, didn't realise you can't feed them bread until it was too late but I fed them a few slices and more and more kept turning up, you could put your hand out with bread in and they'd bounce over and take it off you.
After that I went to alma bay which was cool, found a walking track which had a few decent view points and found a wild koala in the trees on the way, eventually got to the forts which is a long walk up the hills where the military used this place in world war 2 because it was right next to pacific waters that the Japanese had control of at the time. You walked up the hills and saw places where the cannons would have been placed and right at the top was a communications tower where you could see loads of the island from.
After that walked all the way around Through Arthur bay, Florence bay and radical bay before ending up at horseshoe bay, all were proper lush except I didn't have enough time to stay around at each because the sun was setting by time I got to the last bay. Took around 5 and a half hours to walk all the way round then got the bus back to the otherside of the island and crashed that night I was that knackered.
