Hey there everybody,
we've been pretty busy, well pretty busy driving anyway. We left Esperance after a couple of days, although we had alot of fun there. We meet some good people and had a good days fishing of the jetty there catchig Herring all day long. Unluckly thay don't eat very well so the only one to get a free meal was the sealion that lived under the jetty. From Esperance we headed of to the start of the Nullarbor plane at Norseman, which was a real little outback town with very little in it. The guy in the petrol station there came from the London area and gave us some good tips on the cheep fuel place's on the Nullarbor. So we started the long journey that is the nullarbor plane, it makes you feel pretty small as you go along it. Its just one long peice of tarmac followed by a bend then another long straight peice of tarmac. There is nothing but bush as far as the eye can see to the left and right of you and it can feel like your not going anywhere at times. There's not much to see other than the occasional eagle and alot of road kill, untill you get to the big bight when it change's and you have nothing to the left and the sea to your right. This was where we came unstuck !!!!! We thought that it would be a good idea to stop and take some photo's of the big bight, one of the most remote place's in OZ. However after driving though a puddle we found out that Kylie dos'nt like it when we get her all wet !!!!!! We where in luck though, as the where a couple that had pulled up in the same spot (Jeff and Ann) who towed us on to the next road house. Not that far just 110K!!!!!!!!!! The mechanic pulled in just as we did had a look and gave us the news. Blown starter motor, $200 later and the next day we were on the road again. We finished the Nullarbor after 3 days of pretty much none stop driving and stayed the night in a place called Poochera it was kind of like stepping into a time wrap, as thge place felt like it was 200 years ago. We then headed towards Adelaide where we are at the moment, were not sure wether to stay here or not yet but if we don't were heading on to Melbourn to get some work. Anyhow where going to get back out into the sunshine now, we've been inside this cafe for too long and i'm starting to go white again. So take care all hope you like the pic's soon Chris and Alan
